Dr. Julie George, ND
Hi, I’m Dr. Julie George, a Naturopathic Doctor based in the beautiful Spokane, Washington area. I help people who feel overlooked or unheard by conventional medicine find lasting, natural solutions to their health concerns. Through my practice, Rivercreek Wellness, I offer advanced diagnostic testing and individualized treatment plans that address the root causes of chronic health issues—without relying solely on prescription medications. Whether you're struggling with fatigue, inflammation, hormone imbalances, or unexplained symptoms, I'm here to help you take back control of your health with evidence-based, holistic care.
My passion for natural medicine began early in life while growing up in Texas, a region shaped by both agriculture and chemical industries. Although conventional healthcare dominated, a single visit to a naturopath shifted my perspective and opened the door to holistic healing. This path became even more personal during medical school, when I lost my brother to a brain tumor. That loss deepened my commitment to understanding how environmental exposures affect long-term health.
Today, I focus on environmental medicine and educating patients about how toxins and lifestyle factors contribute to conditions such as autism, autoimmune disorders, gastrointestinal issues, chronic illness, and more. While prevention through healthy nutrition, sleep, movement, and hydration is essential, I also provide deeper support through targeted testing, detox protocols, and naturopathic therapies.
I offer virtual naturopathic visits to make this level of care accessible to patients throughout the United States. Whether you're local to Spokane or connecting from afar, my goal is to empower you with the tools, knowledge, and personalized support needed to restore and maintain your health—naturally.
Education
I hold a Naturopathic Doctor degree from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ (name changed to Sonoran University of Health Sciences), and a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington, my career has spanned diverse experiences, including founding Sunstone Natural Health and co-owning The Sedona Cleanse in Arizona. I've been honored with the Doctor of the Year award in Texas and have had the privilege of training under pioneering experts like Dr. William Rea and Dr. Walter Crinnion. My post-doctorate achievements include advanced Environmental Medicine training and the Mold Illness Certification by Dr. Jill Crista, all while actively engaging in numerous conferences to enhance my practice and patient care.
