Appointment Information

New Patient Appointments: Your initial visit includes a comprehensive review of your health history, current symptoms, previous laboratory results, and health concerns. We will discuss potential contributing factors and develop an individualized plan for moving forward.

Follow-Up Appointments: These visits allow us to review your progress, discuss laboratory findings, address ongoing concerns, and make adjustments to your treatment plan as needed.

Acute Appointments: Shorter appointments are available for established patients who need assistance with a specific, uncomplicated health concern.

Educational Naturopathic Consulting: Available nationwide for individuals seeking education about their health concerns, laboratory findings, and wellness options. These consultations do not include medical diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment outside Washington State.

Appointment Policies

Payment: Rivercreek Wellness is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Payment is required prior to your appointment. Upon request, a superbill with applicable billing codes can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.

Cancellations and Rescheduling: We understand that schedules can change. However, because in-person appointments are offered on a limited basis, we require at least 14 days' notice to cancel or reschedule an in-person appointment. For telemedicine appointments, we require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled without the required notice, as well as missed appointments, may be subject to cancellation fees in accordance with our practice policies.

Telemedicine Appointments: Telemedicine appointments are available for eligible patients physically located in Washington State at the time of their visit. Please ensure you have a reliable internet connection and a private, quiet space for your appointment.

Prescription Refills and Laboratory Testing: Please plan ahead when requesting prescription refills or laboratory orders. These requests may require an appointment and should be addressed before you run out of medication or need testing completed. Allow one week for refill requests. Our office closures are sent via our newsletter.

Patient Communication: Established patients should use the secure patient portal for brief questions, prescription requests, and other nonurgent communication. New symptoms or complex medical concerns require an appointment. We send out a newsletter to your email on file with important office announcements.

Medical Emergencies: Rivercreek Wellness does not provide emergency medical services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. For urgent medical concerns, contact your primary care provider or an urgent care facility.

Wellness Packages
