Dr. George is passionate about working with individuals who are ready to take an active role in their healing. Because restoring health — especially from chronic illness — is a process, it requires consistency, education, and dedication from both the patient and practitioner.
To support this journey, Dr. George recommends ongoing care through Monthly, Bi-Monthly, or Quarterly appointments, based on your health history, level of prior testing, and familiarity with naturopathic medicine. This approach allows for deeper education, the exploration of personalized treatment protocols, and regular progress monitoring as you implement lasting lifestyle and wellness changes.

Initial Visit
The initial visit is where the comprehensive health history is completed. Laboratory testing may be indicated at this time. This extensive visit is approximately two hours. Patients leave with a plan to help achieve their health goals.
Please bring all medications/supplements/recent lab results to the appointment.
We now utilize a health portal to send all questionnaires and consent forms. We require all documents to be turned in 2 days prior to appointment. Within 1-2 business days of scheduling your appointment, we will send you an invite to the portal and all paperwork.
Follow Up Visit
This visit allows time to review any laboratory results, discuss detailed treatment protocols and/or monitor patient progress. The appointment time is up to one hour. A personalized holistic health plan will be given.
Virtual and TeleMedicine Visits
If you're unable to travel to our office in Spokane Valley, Dr. Julie George offers virtual consultations nationwide.
Telemedicine visits are available for residents of Washington State.
For those outside of Washington, Dr. George provides health consulting services via phone or video. These are educational and wellness-focused consultations that follow the same investigative and individualized approach — without offering diagnosis or prescription services.
All phone and video appointments must be paid in advance to reserve your time.

Where to Buy Supplements in Spokane?
Rivercreek Wellness offers online supplement purchases through Fullscript. This is a trusted distributor of some of the best supplements on the market. We only recommend supplements that are of the highest quality. The place that you purchase your supplements is very important to ensure that your supplements have not been altered and have been stored at the correct temperature. They offer auto shipment so that you never go without your favorite supplements.
We will also order Byron White Supplements or products from other suppliers for the patient when needed.
Insurance
At Rivercreek Wellness, we do not accept insurance for office consultations. This decision allows Dr. Julie George to spend more focused time with each patient — offering truly personalized, root-cause care without the time constraints imposed by insurance companies.
For in-office visits and Washington-based patients, we’re happy to provide diagnostic codes that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed, and we are unable to complete insurance forms or paperwork on your behalf.
We accept all major credit and debit cards as forms of payment.
Laboratory Fees
Please note that Naturopathic Doctors are not part of the Medicare Network. Therefore, we cannot use Medicare insurance for lab fees. You will be responsible for all lab fees at FULL PRICE from the lab. If you are on Medicare then we suggest going to your primary care provider for laboratory testing.
Insurances can be billed for lab fees and covered subject to each individual plan conditions. Please be aware of your insurance plan conditions as we have no way to predict coverage. Prior to going to lab, please contact your insurance company regarding the labs ordered. In some cases we may be able to recommend a less expensive lab company. However, not all insurance companies cover standard laboratory testing. Alternative laboratory testing is rarely covered by insurance.
